Well first off I said it was an alto and what they do on an alto may not
be the same as the tenor you are refering to. I have a YTS-62 and it
doesnt have a plastic screw either ther is a metal screw with a piece of
cork at the end where it touches the key
The screw was on the articulated G# mechanism. The screw attached to the
pad above the f key which holds the G3 pad closed was white plastic.

I know i wasnt imaging it. The reason I remeber it so clearly was the
sax was quite new only about a year old. IT was still very shiny and
look aesthetically beautiful. So the instrument stood out in my mind.
I checked it out quite thoroughly. IT played beatifully. I was
tempted to make the owner an offer, then I realized I was broke. I
fell it love with the horn I played that well on it and i loved the tone
and how it played. ANd the probem with the horn was that the screw on
the articulated G# mechanism was out of adjustment. And I noted that it
was plastic. Now I dont rember if it was a 52 or a 62. But I know it was
a Yamaha alto.
I am not crazy it did have a platic adjustment screw.
