"Sealing" the rail, tip, and butt do nothing. It really is a waste of
your time. Balance the reed, flatten the back and seal the back......seal
the vamp if it helps you feel better, and spend the rest of the time
playing and adjusting it.

It is probably warped.......re-sand the back and reseal. Break it in
slowly. If the problem persists, the reed is either bad, or you are
playing incorrectly.
