I have a real problem with my lips -- due to the side effects of a certain
medication, they are always dry and chapped. Petroleum based products are
really not good for long-term use. Besides drying the lips, I also found
that they become thinner and much more sensitive. I did use lanolin for a
while, and while it does the job, its pretty messy. I finnaly found
something in a local health food store called "MoistStic - Natrual lip
protection." It is rather expensive -- $2.49 for a .15oz tube, but it
really works great. The ingredients are: Coconut oil, Beeswax, Lanolin,
Peppermint oil, Vitamin E, Tea Tree Oil. I've been using it for about six
monthes now -- with none of the problems I had with Chapstick, Blistex,
Cahp-et, Vaselin, etc.

Hope this helps someone!
