Bridge Mechanism

This is one of the trickiest to keep in shape. And, actually, one of the
most useful fingerings.

Many times the problem is in the pad controlled by the Left hand second
finger, which doesn't work properly.
This pad has to close with the lightest touch.

Also the pad for the forefinger of the Right hand has to be in good
shape.

I have an old Boehm made by Albert of Brussels, that has an adjusting
screw on the upper part of the bridge.

Most of time, when the connection doesn't work perfectly, I turn the top
joint to the Right (a tiny bit) and that takes up the slack in the play.

It is an important fingering and it's worthwhile to keep it top shape.
