Classical recordings of bass........Not enough. I based using
vibrato on the reactions (positive) from previous directors and judges and
colleagues. It's part of my sound. I've not had any TRUE formal
instruction (I'm self taught/read a LOT/asked questions), so I haven't
heard many other styles of playing. Hey, Eric Dolphy was a major
influence for a while....
