Follow up on post "Stability Problems with Articulation"

In talking with my student, I have found that she actually does make "t"
sounds by using the middle of her tongue against the roof of her mouth
-- not the tip. Interesting.

Has anyone ever seen this before? I'm sure she isn't the first.
