Thanks for the help.

Recently I have received a fax personally from Mr.Nestico
himself making some comments on "A Study in Contrasts".
He says this piece was composed originally for the clarinet
choir and later transcribed for saxophones and again for
string ensemble.

I believe somebody on this list has kindly enough
forwarded my question to him.

I am so happy!
