Oh for pete's sake.....he raised it another $50 within 6 months???? He
raised it $100 last year - and I quoted our school the $600 figure for the
new bass clarinet we are buying - given the fact that it is a new
instrument with less to do - I am beginning to wonder why the price has to
be so high? I wonder what he charges for the Bb and A clarinets now? I
don't send students to Bill any longer - for the simple reason that, if a
horn cracks, they are out the work he did when the new joint comes in. I
tell them to wait until the horn is a year old before getting any
aftermarket work done on it.
Geez.....I'm really depressed about this recent price increase.
