Their motivation, it would appear, would be to improve the quality of
their already superb instrument. If they can sell the thing at the same
price, it is to their advantage to do so.

I own one model removed, and it is a beautiful instrument - and only a
year old. I owned the model previous to that as well as a Selmer
33........Buffet is definitely the best bass clarinet made currently.
