I haven't been in Budapest but in Paris the most obvious ( if you are a
clarinet or sax player) store to visit is the Vandoren shop in Rue Lepic on
the way up to Mont Martre and Sacre Ceur. Here they almost have everything
for clarinet and you can try the reeds before you buy! Remember to try The
Vandoren pizza at the Pizzeria opposite, after your visit.

You will also find several good sheet music stores in Rue de Rome e.g
"Flute de Pan" (metro Europe)
