Does anyone know what the cost of attending a conservatory after high
school is compared to a liberal arts college?
Thanks,

The cost of being employed or not. Depends on what your main focus is, and
how good you really are at Clarinet. Here's some numbers from the Wall
Street Journal that I read on the flight to the Columbus ClarFest (pretty
Ironic huh?).
"Each year, more than 13,000 (thirteen thousand) hopefuls graduate with
performance degrees, but annually, fewer than 150 (one hundred fifty)
symphony jobs come open".
That is from page A14 of the July 7, 1998 Wall St. Journal.
Written by Gwendolyn Freed, editor of Chamber Music Magazine, Minneapolis.
Are those numbers sobering enough??
