Dear fellow musicians,

I would like to thank all who have participated in my "OFF SUBJECT"
survey. I have been very amused by many of your responses, and will post
results sometime next week (along with some of the choice comments).

Due to objections from two individuals, one on the flute list and one
on the trumpet list, THE SURVEY IS HEREBY SUSPENDED. You are welcome to
continue the discussion on your respective lists if you so desire, and
if list administrators do not object. I have found this subject to be
rather fun to discuss, except for the responses from two individuals.

The person on the flute list who stated objections is an
administrator, so I must abide by their wishes. However the person from
the trumpet list is not.

I received a rather insulting response from Mr. John Zwolanek (from
the trumpet list) which, since this WAS a survey, was welcomed. He chose
to respond to BOTH myself AND the list (so I got TWO responses from this
#$@-----. He was, however, asked not to contact me ever again and he
chose to do so. Since this survey was intended for the purposes of
mutual enjoyment, I am halting it because I do not enjoy receiving
continued responses from people like him.

I thank all who participated, and will notify you all in some fashion
regarding results just as soon as they are final. Since this "gentleman"
from the trumpet list has included his contact information, please feel
free to notify him of your opinions on the matter. If you are upset that
the survey has ended so soon, so am I. It was rather enjoyable for the
most part, however note that it was Mr. John Zwolanek who ruined it for
