Dear Group,

I am sending this survey to several lists. This topic may be
different from the ones usually under discussion on this list, but I
hope that you will please indulge me.

With the topics of several disasters in the public eye, such as the
Titanic disaster and the recent explosion of a Titan missile off the
coast of Florida, a friend of mine mentioned wishing that all copies of
a certain piece of music or all music of a particular composer had been
on board.

My question is:

If you could send all copies of a particular piece or pieces of
music (or works of a particular composer, etc.) into:

a) outer space
b) a spacecraft which might explode after lift off
c) the depths of the ocean floor -OR-
d) some other location, never to be heard from again

what music would you choose to send? Try to be as open-minded and
tolerant as possible and do your best to avoid naming entire categories
of music. Please, however, feel free to name whatever piece or pieces
that you most wish that we would never have to listen to or play again.
If you desire to do so, feel free to mention the "complete" works of any
composer (or composers), as well as entire categories if you simply
MUST.

PLEASE RESPOND TO ME DIRECTLY at the e-mail address listed above (as
the address to "Reply-To"). I do not mind receiving multiple posts
should you continue to think of additional items, HOWEVER in order to
prevent the overload of servers of the lists through which you received
this mailing, PLEASE DO NOT REPLY DIRECTLY TO THE LIST THROUGH WHICH YOU
RECEIVED THIS E-MAIL.

Write me at: KHMobo2L@-----.net

Appreciatively,
Kevin H. Moore
