What this bug deals with will probably not affect any personal computers,
but mainly will be an issue in older systems such as those present in many
companies such as banks, insurance companies, etc...

One of the major effects that this could have on everyone in general will
have to do with loan and interest calculation. Since older systems will
believe it to be many years earlier when we reach the year 2000, many
computer systems will think report accounts as being things like 100 years
past due.

I hope this has shed some light on the subject...^_^
