My favorite mouthpiece is a Vandoren 2RV, possibly made around 1950. It
hasn't caused any noticable tarnishing. Nor has my B45 which is mainly used
on my B45 with silver keys (is the B45 rubber or plastic?).

Also, can anyone tell me something about the 2RV ? It has long disappeared
from the catalogues and I would love to know what a modern equivalent would
be (in case I break it!).
