Hello Jack,

Thank you for this information it is extremely helpful. I was under the impression
that the V12's ran the same strength but were supposed to be more consistent than
standard Vandoren. This explains a lot. Perhaps it is time for me to begin to learn
more about reeds. I tend to be more concerned about practicing scales and less concerned
about the mechanics of the instrument, therefore I usually just wet a reed and put
it on the mouthpiece. Can you recommend any literature that would help in this endeavor.
