I was simply wondering about the Buffet Festival (Festive? Festival?)
clarinets. Can anyone tell me about them. I heard that they are the
top of the line Buffets, but then why don't more professionals use
them. Perhaps I am wrong, and many professionals do use this Buffet
model.

Dear Victor,

Like Chuck said and it is the same designe as the R13 Polycilindrical 14.64mm
bore with undercut tone holes. We use the Prestige wood on the Festival which
means is a denser wood than the R13 and the vibrations happen little bit
after. The Festival comes with Gore Tex pads, the tone holes are mor conical and
like chuck said the twelve register is 3 mm higher wich change the volume
inside and make the air travel diferently.Professional play this instruments
in the north America territory and it is a popular instruments.
