Words of advice for auditions and life in general: don't be afraid to
ask! If you need clarification to get something important done right,
people will respect you more for having the guts and common sense to ask
questions than if you barrelled ahead blindly and did it all wrong.

I find this crops up in my work a lot -- accounting requires precision and
accuracy. Training people in years past (and probably again later this
year) has been frustrating when they are afraid to ask for instructions.
I end up spending twice the amount of time to correct a mistake than it
would have taken me to simply do the job myself in the first place!
