One sure cure for the G#-A trill......practice a lot!

Truer words were never sopken! For Firebird, don't use any alternate
fingerings in the opening thirty-second notes (G# -- A). This is one of the
more difficult orchestral excerpts to master and is one that audition
committees use to separate the men from the boys. The rhythmic precision of
the excerpt must be as tight as possible, so practice many hours with a
metronome. You might have to use alternate fingerings in other parts of the
excerpt, GOOD LUCK!
