The book to which you refer is probably, "Symphonic Repertoire for the Bass
Clarinet" by Michael Drapkin (published by Roncorp). It is currently in print and
Luyben's lists it in their current catalog for $18. For fastest, surest, service,
use their regular phone number 1-816-753-7111. Request express mail. If they have
it in stock, you should receive it in a few days. If they don't have it in stock,
you can try Eble's, Carl Fischer, Shattinger's, or Southwest. Phone numbers should
be on Sneezy but, if Luyben's doesn't have it, and you need another phone number,
let me know.

I think almost anything in the book would make good audition material for you. If
you read bass clef with facility, you might include one or two excerpts written in
bass clef so the director will know that it poses you no problems.

Best regards,
Jack Kissinger
St. Louis
