Dear Klarinet members,

As a lot of you probably already know, ClarinetFest 99 will be held in
Ostend,
Belgium. The organization for that is coming along pretty good and we have
already put up a website (with special thanks to Mark).

We are going to try to make ClarinetFest 99 the best ClarinetFest ever (and
those who attended Ghent in 1993 know that we have the potential). There is
going to be special attention for the Klarinet members, starting from marked
badges to (probably) Internet access so you can stay online during that
week.
A special Klarinet meeting will be arranged (in cooperation with Mark).

Another thing is the recordings of the recitals. Tapes will be replaced by
CD's. Even better, you'll be able to create your own CD's. For example, if
you
want this piece from one recital and that piece from another recital, just
put
both pieces on one CD instead of buying two tapes.

Please write us with your feedback, either on the list or to
bert.six@-----.edu,
so that we can make this ClarinetFest the best ever. New ideas are also
welcome!
