Hello, everyone on the list,

If anybody here knows anything, please give
me any information about Sammy Nestico and
his work "A Study in Contrasts", things like
why a big band composer/arranger came to
compose a clarinet choir work, and to whom
it was written, when and where it was performed
for the first time and so on....

Actually, I play an alto-clarinet in a clarinet
choir. The choir is going to play Sammy Nestico's
"A Study in Contrasts" in the coming concert.

And I want to write some introductory notes
about this piece on the brochure at the
concert. But I cannot find anything so far.

Thank you in advance.

TY.
