I didn't mean to imply that music is good or bad based on how popular it is. I
was just trying to say that a lot of people I know really haven't given
classical music (or any other different type of music) a chance. I do,
however, live in relatively small town. Cities like San Diego will have swing,
ska, country, rap, jazz, r&b, reggae, and everything else on the list, and
liking anything would be okay, since there is so much variety. But here, many
people think ska is the name of one band and think swing is a type of dance,
not a type of music. Call it ignorance; that's what I call it.
