I have worked on only one Series 2-20 from Boosey & Hawkes. (It's on
consignment now at a local music store.) I was impressed with the overall
quality of the instrument. Mine plays well in tune and has a full tone. The
left hand C lever has what I believe they call "fingernail file" etching on
saxes. Very easy to locate. The right hand Bb trill key is oriented vertically
instead of horizontally. The intention, I suppose, was to make this key
especially easy to find or to be able to hit it without hitting other trills
keys. Those of us who are used to smallish trill keys don't have a problem,
but the vertical orientation on the B&H is a nice innovation. I would say the
Series 2-20 is truly an intermediate level instrument. I have also worked on
one B&H Edgware model and that seemed to be more "beginner" quality.
