For my college auditions, I've decided to play
1. Mozart Concerto, third movement, from measure 180-310 ( i hope the measures
are the same for all prints of it)
2. Saint-Saens Sonate, III
3. Messager Solo de Concours, up to the first double bar.

Does anyone know what tempos these pieces are usually played at? I mean, I can
see that they have Allegro and Lento, but the composers may have had different
tempos in mind than what I consider to be allegro. Just for practicing
purposes, i've been playing the mozart at dotted quarter = 72, the Saint-Saens
at half note @-----. Am I anywhere near the
right tempos? thanx for any suggestions!
