Yes, and "bitch" is a perfectly acceptable term in AKC circles, but its =
context colors the meaning, just as in this case. It was, and still is, =
considered lewd in the context of the play. I was simply using it as an =
example for those who think Shakespeare was above lewdity--the man was =
quite a rascal, and it shows in his writing through lewdity, gratuitous =
violence and other *fun* means of livening up those wonderful, brilliant =
plays.
