Music with shock value is not bad. Music with NOTHING BUT shock value is
bad. It is civil not to swear in front of a woman because she is not
SUPPOSED to like it (whether this is true or not). It is sexist to portray
women in song as sex objects and targets of violence, which rappers do with
alarming frequency and graphic intensity.
