Actually, we made big cuts. The 9 minute, 30 second piece was cut down to six
minutes. and the audience was, I guess, half adults and half students. And
my director wanted me to perform this particular piece because of two reaons:
1) he made a band transcription for the accompaniment, and
2) it was the piece I played for All-State auditions when i got in.
So, what's a guy to do?
