Coudet may actually be a model name rather than the manufacturer. There
is currently a Coudet clarinet listed for sale on the eBay auction.
According to its description, it was manufactured by Martin Freres
(Martin Brothers) in France. I believe Martin Freres was one of the
larger French manufacturers earlier in the century, no longer operating
under that name. I have heard that this company is the same one
associated with Martin saxophones but I'm not sure of this (the source
of this comment was not necessarily reliable). If the clarinet is a
Martin Freres, it is probably a decent intermediate-level instrument.
