oh the swines.
the previous record, earlier this year, was set near where my mother and
the parents of one of my clarinet-choir friends live. i had seriously
suggested we went along to help: would two more clarinets in the kent
county youth orchestra have kept them the record, i wonder...?
(the kcyo put on the performance as a publicity stunt, in the face of
an imminent funding cut. i do hope pittsburgh's achievement won't
detract from kcyo's campaign...)
