I have checked more closely my Moennig Buffet. It has tape inside
two tone holes (as best as i can see without removing keys) at the
top of the tone holes in both cases. I know it is a Moennig
instrument because i bought it from my teacher Carmine Campione who
purchased it from Moennig new.
