Like as not, you have been playing the correct fingerings, but it has been
coming out in a different concert key because of the differently-pitched
clarinet, and the accompaniment has been transposed to match it. If your
first movement is in the WRITTEN key of C, you have only to accustom
yourself to an A clarinet to made the transition.
