When do you audition, Karen? How many pieces do you have learned now? You're
not planning on replacing the Mozart, are you? If you have enough pieces, you
may not want to do another one, because of time conflicts, or the fact that
you may not have enough time to really master the pieces. (More than just
playing the notes.) But there's nothing saying that you couldn't learn some
more note and technique wise for now, then in the following years, bring them
up again and really polish them. It also keeps you from being bored. That's
what I do.
Perhaps you could try Schumann's Fantasy Pieces. Very nice romantic-style.
