Try Cyrille Rose's Elegy - it's a MUCHO MUY expressive piece. If you want
to show off your tone quality, tonal/tuning stability, ability to play
LONG phrases, and expressiveness, this piece is it. It's not a quick
learner: there are a few notable tricky runs, and a lot of little
expressive quirks to really perfect to make this piece come off. But if
you do it well, it leaves your audience wide-eyed with awe. It's also a
chop buster - a normal range in notes, but wide range in dynamics with
lots of long notes. At marked tempo, it will be about seven minutes long,
so get those lips in shape! (Lots of terraced dynamic changes in the high
clarion)

Good luck.
