A big thank you to all those who replied to the very broad question posed
by my student.

I think we put our collective foot into an outcome which was not intended.
HOMEWORK! The question posed by my student was not a homework assignment,
although it was initially worded that way. In the future, we will
endeavour to put any question of this nature to the list in a way which
shows that all avenues of research have been undertaken. This way, the
question should generate discussion and debate throughout the collective
clarinet minds on the list. I hope.

My apologies to those who feel I/we have wasted space on the list.
