Wow, THAT is a find. My semi-informed guess is that you can still find
turntables that will play 78s, but you will have to spend significant money
to do it. I think some manufacturers still make professional-grade
turntables; they MAY be the only ones who still have the 78 RPM speed
attached.

I'd be delighted to find out that I'm wrong since I've got a bunch of 78s
too that I can't play.
