Really and my teacher keeps telling me that nobody or not that many
people play jazz clarinet. Because my school refuses to allow to major
as a jazz performance major or clarinet. They say I must make sax my
main instrument and clarinet as my secondary one. But since there are
so many out there as you say I feel there is still hope for me to be the
next Buddy or Eddie. Speaking of which does anyone know if it is
possible to get copies of of any of there works regardless if its the
arrangment they use on there cds. I am referring to Buddy Defranco and
Eddie danials. I have a recital coming up next year and ialthough
mozart brahms etc etc ae are wonderful pieces for clarinet I would like
to do a more modern jazz piece in my recital.
