I have had the same problem with ine of my old clarinets. It is one
pain in the neck to deal with constantly. It can be fixed but take it
to someone who has experience with clarinets preferably a clareinet
player himself. It can be handled with a small trick i tried. find the
mechanism for the left hand key and add a piece of cork so that the
mechanism is partially engaged not enough to close the hole but it would
allow a slightly quicker response time when using the key.
