I sus pect my previous rejoinder didn't get through - there's also a good
place to use it near the beginning of the Bax sonata (if I remember
correctly - I don't have it here), which has some very
awkward transitions in it elsewhere as well.
Muehlfeld probably had much less trouble, having a post-Mueller
instrument....
