Yes, my Wurlitzer Reform-Boehm clarinets have vent holes in the bell. I plugged
them when I added an intonation key for the low E thinking they would no longer
be necessary but ended up redrilling them very soon. It just didn't sound good
(long fingerings) and the intonation was also better.
