I received quite a few personal messages this morning about spam and Ponzi
schemes (chain letters/pyramid scams) this morning due to the one posting
recently. The person who made that posting is a Klarinet member (as is the
requirement for anyone posting), and I made the assumption that it was an
accident that the message was posted to the list. All of you should make
that assumption, too, and not deluge the person with "fan" mail. Accidents
can/will happen.

If it happens again the person(s) will get a polite warning. The third time
the address will go into the blacklist file and will need special permission
to rejoin the list. Currently there are _no_ names in the blacklist file
(that's its literal name!).
