Ok, I'll keep on, resaying this: I'm not playing them just to play them, and
leaving them. I'll always work on them. No piece is ever really "finished."
I do actually have an immense score collection and CDs to match. My primary
goal is to direct orchestras, and the best way to do that is practice, so
that's how I first started getting scores and recordings.
And I have actually taken college music classes, and done some reasearch,
thanks to my professors.
It's good to do different things from time to time, so if I get bored playing
pieces and analyzing them, I can work on something else. I always stack up on
a lot of music in advance, instead of buying one piece at a time, also.
