For some more contemporary choices try (publishers in parenthesis)

Sonata by Poulenc (Chester Music)
Concerto by Copland (Boosey and Hawkes)
Rhapsody by Osborne (Peters)
Andante and Allegro by Don Haddad (Shawnee Press)
Solo de Concours by Rabaud (Southern)
Meditation from Thais by Massenet (Carl Fischer) -- a transcription from violin
original
Sonata-Concerto in g Minor by Schubert (Carl Fischer)
3 pieces for Solo Clarinet by Stravinsky (Kalmus)
Parable by Persechetti (spelling? -- Publisher unknown)
Sonata by Hindemith (Schirmer)
Concerto by Piston (Supposedly out-of-print but I did get a copy so it is
possible)

I like all these pieces and would really recommend all of them. In addition, you
may want to look into the Stamitz concertos; he wrote twelve so that is a major
chunk of repertoire within itself.

I think it is really important to get a good handle of repertoire from every era
and since you have mostly a classical/romantic background this may help you
diversify a bit. However, some other less modern favorites of mine:

Intro, Theme, and Vars. by Rossini (Oxford)
Brahams Sonatas 1 & 2 (Southern or Carl Fischer)
Concerto by Haydn (Warner Brothers)
Premiere Rhapsodie by Debussy (Durand) -- this one is a pain to get because it is
an oversees company

In response to Susan Schwaegler's comments, I think that she makes an excellent
point in saying that one most spend a lot of time to fully master repertoire,
however, I often get bored of the same thing day in and day out, so I think that
it is a good idea to add some new pieces in with the regular daily practice. I
would strongly recommend getting recordings of all these things, especially the
modern concertos because interpreting straight from the page gets a little hairy!
There are loads of other things to look at so I only listed things I have had
personal experience with. For further listings I would check the Klarinet
archives at Mark's sneezy site because I do recall reading postings with MASSIVE
listings that printed out to 2 or 3 pages.

Good luck!
