The first question I would like to ask, is can you play through this Rubank Method without any errors? Are the
articulation exercises performed clearly and accurately? Are you familiar with all of the major scales in this method.
Have you learned all the major arpeggios. If you have not achieved any of this than the Rubank Intermediate method
will work very well. If you can do all of the above, and you can't find the Baermann, then look for the Rubank Advanced
I & II. These will work quite well until you can find other more difficult methods. I have known of the Rubank Methods
since I started to play Clarinet over 30 years ago, and many High School teachers still use them. IMHO if it has scales,
arpeggios, and articulation exercises; and is also interlaced with duets and melodies which apply the exercises, than it
can only help you. As long as you practice it diligently.
