The Adagio from the Mozart Concerto, the 2nd movement of the 1st
Spohr concerto, and the Baermann Adagio all work extraordinarily well
for weddings, and with organ. I'm partial to the Baermann (formerly
attributed to Wagner)--have played it at at least a dozen weddings,
and only one ended in divorce! Pretty good average for a
misattributed work, I'd say.
