Another way to keep the bass support peg from sliding is to "rough" up
the plating and metal of the peg in there area where you normally clamp.
Use either a fine bastard file or 320 -220 sand paper. The smooth
plating does not allow the small clamp to grip tight enough. All you
need are some vertical scratches in the surface, not gouges!
