Does anyone have experience with the Kooiman Thumb Rest (as listed
in The Woodwind's catalog)? It extends out to the right side so that
the clarinet can be supported between the first and second knuckles
of the thumb. My mother, who has been playing clarinet for a couple
of years and still has problems with right hand position, is considering
buying one, but at $65 it's something of an investment.
