I use filters on my system to drop probable spam addresses into a _look at
later_ box. The alternative reply addresses are already being undone by
spammers (they're just as bright as you and I). Since most of your addresses
are already listed at four11 and other sites it won't really help.
Interestingly enough, even with my (many!) mail addresses and over 200
messages a day on the average coming in, (klarinet, php3, business, web, and
admin mail), I average only 5 to 10 spam messages. I post on a few
newsgroups, too - they're _real_ fodder for the spammers. My previous post
was really to assure people that we don't sell the addresses from Klarinet.
Considering that there's only 600 or so - they wouldn't even be worth all
that much :) I've got around 15,000 good addresses from my Web pages. Now,
if you offered me a buck an address ... <big grin> ... I still wouldn't sell
them. I had to think for a minute, though.

Cheers,
----
