I have some LP's by a Hungarian Gypsy Clarinettist, Erno Kallai Kiss
(Qualiton). I don't know if they have been made available on CD's.I
haven't played them for years but I seem to remember they were pretty
hot stuff! I have a number of recordings by gypsy bands. my favourite
being The Budapest Gypsies, led by Matyas Jonas (Decca Eclipse, ECS-R
2145) -really exhilarating! Let me know if you would like full
details of these recordings.
