on my case, I realize this solution sounds radical but it works for me.

I've also heard of having the cork under the key completely built up so that
it doesn't move or open the pad. Sounds cheaper than plugging the hole.

A friend of mine was once talking to his teacher about his large hands. The
teacher said, "I have small hands, which is good for playing the Eb." My
friend asked, "Well, what are my hands good for?" to which our teacher
replied, "Farming."

(My friend is an EXCELLENT clarinet player! :)
